From bird to coloring page
Each page begins with a real bird species. Its shape, posture, feather patterns, and recognizable field markings are studied before being simplified into clean linework that is easy to print and enjoyable to color.
01 — Choose a bird
Browse the collection by habitat, bird family, or species name. Each page includes a preview, the bird’s scientific name, a natural color guide, and a few identification facts.
02 — Download and print
Open the bird page and download the print-ready PDF. The illustrations are designed to print clearly on both A4 and US Letter paper.
03 — Color and discover
Follow the bird’s natural plumage, use the color guide for reference, or create your own version. As you color, notice the details that make each species recognizable—from wing bars and eye stripes to beak shape and tail length.
More than a coloring page
The aim is not only to create a finished picture, but to become familiar with the bird behind the lines. Every page combines a quiet creative activity with a simple introduction to bird identification.
